The SCHOMOS in MMA will need to help the stake holders to restructure the frame work so that more doctors can be absorbed into the system and keep working as doctors[not to resort to other professions]. The influx of new doctors should stop. Senior doctors are to be promoted to higher ranks thus clearing space for juniors to move up.
The Ministry of Health Malaysia has strived very hard to provide an excellent healthcare to the people and now with the available man power, every hospital, clinic and health centre will have enough of doctors.
The entire salary structure has to be re-done and NOW its the time to move out of public service salary scales BUT to an independent board [outside the government pay structure]
I am for this system and hopefully I can drive this initiation.
