Vertigo CME for GPs in Melaka

2 September 2016: Vertigo CME was conducted at a leading hotel in Melaka. It was attended by 20 GPs which had a very direct and close discussion on causes, diagnosis and management of vertigo. Simple information on the physiology of balance was presented with common clinical features seen at general practice.

Choice of medications were discussed and options were highlighted. Besides medications, other methods of therapy such as vestibular rehabilitation was also mentioned.

There was an active participation in questions and answers sessions after a simple demostration in diagnosing BPPV.

We hope there will be more CME programs to re-visit some simple and common medical ailments that patients face daily.
