MMA in 2004 organised the inaugural golf tournament with His Majesty The King of Malaysia: Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertain Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Al-Mahrum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail in Putrajaya.
This golf game was unique as it was historic to have His Majesty to play with MMA members and it was not the usual AGM GOLF.
The idea of the game was to bring prestige to our association and to enhance our recognition. We should in the future do similar events besides the usual business that MMA goes about. A break like this is indeed valuable and well remembered.
The event was during the tenure of Datuk Dr N Arumungam: President MMA in 2004 and I was the Organising Chairman.
