Lecture and Panel Session in Jakarta at the Global Health Asia Pacific: Aesthetics Wellness and Longevity
Evidence-based longevity care starts with a comprehensive assessment of cardiovascular, metabolic, cancer, cognitive, functional, medication, and social risks, alongside the patient’s priorities.
Use interventions supported by strong evidence: physical activity, Mediterranean-style eating, adequate sleep, tobacco and alcohol reduction, vaccination, preventive screening, and guideline-based control of blood pressure, lipids, diabetes, and obesity.
Avoid promising lifespan extension from unproven supplements, hormones, or expensive testing. Define realistic goals such as preserving mobility, independence, symptom control, and avoiding hospitalizations.
Measure outcomes using clinical markers, functional tests, quality-of-life reports, adverse effects, and total cost. Reassess regularly, deprescribe when appropriate, and make decisions collaboratively together.
