The Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia (APHM) attended the 4th Joint Ministerial Committee on Private Healthcare Costs (JBMKKS/JMCPHC), a key inter-agency collaboration established by Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Health in June 2025.
Co-chaired by Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan and Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, this committee is committed to tackling the rise in medical inflation and strengthening regulation of private hospital and insurance charges — ensuring quality, accessible healthcare for all.
