What is MHTC's role?

Promote Malaysia internationally as a preferred medical tourism destination, coordinate public-private stakeholders, develop quality standards and accreditation, ensure patient safety and practices, facilitate seamless patient experience including travel logistics, foster workforce development and innovation, support marketing and research, and drive sustainable growth in the healthcare tourism sector and nationwide partnerships.

The board is chaired by Minister of Health YB Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad
