I shared the advantages of DRG in private hospitals, including predictable payments and improved efficiency in resource use. However, disadvantages consist of potential under-treatment, rigid protocols limiting individualized care, and increased administrative burdens for coding and compliance, which can compromise patient outcomes and overload hospital staff.
