17 September 2020 marks World Patient Safety Day and I represented Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia at panel discussion organised by Ministry of Health Malaysia on the topic: “Multimodal Strategies to Improve The Safety of The Healthcare Worker and patient” which was telecasted using a webinar.
The private hospitals in Malaysia had strictly adhered to all the Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines by the Ministry of Health Malaysia during the Co-Vid 19 pandemic in protecting the patients and healthcare workers. Some private hospitals took extra steps to safe-guard their clients and medical staff. This gave confidence to the patients while receiving treatment at private facilities.
