24 August 2017: How IoT [Internet Of Things] and Big Data is transforming medicine Now- was my topic of presentation at the recently concluded HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT ASIA 2017 in Manila, Philippines. This meeting had 1000 delegates from Asia and with hundreds of speakers sharing ideas and thoughts in healthcare.
The main discussion was on patient centred care and using BIG DATA platforms in managing treatment modalities now and for the future. There were also talks on how to help emerging markets through affordable care technology and looking for practical solutions for patients. We need to understand the increase proliferation of information which can be helpful and at the same time dangerous if not monitored for its accuracy.
